Who says frizzy hair, also says dry hair, it's inevitable. Good news, however, with good care and a good beauty routine, this hair dryness is not insurmountable.
The hydration of the hair fiber is ensured by the sebum. Problem with frizzy hair, their natural spiral structure prevents it from spreading over the lengths. As a result, the sebum stagnates on the scalp, and the hair becomes dry. To limit Mother Nature's imperfections, all you have to do is prioritize hydration in each treatment.
In general, whatever the treatment, avoid products containing parabens, sulfates and synthetic dyes. For what ? Because they are irritating to the scalp, stifling to the hair fiber, and allergenic.
Pre-poo care, which is rinsed before shampooing, nourishes the hair fiber in depth, strengthens the hair and restores its shine, softens it and protects it against the aggressions of the various agents contained in shampoos. Among these pre-poo treatments: the oil bath and/or the mask.
They are to be carried out every week or every two weeks. We favor avocado, argan, jojoba, coconut, shea or castor oil. We moisten the hair, apply the treatment strand by strand, wrap the hair with cellophane and a scarf, and leave to rest all night before shampooing.
For washing the hair itself, we favor the conditioner rather than the shampoo. The conditioner indeed includes the same cleansing agents as a shampoo, but is much more nourishing and much more moisturizing. We put on conditioners with olive oil, avocado oil or shea butter.
If you really cannot do without shampoo, space out the frequency of washing as much as possible (once or twice a week). We start with a gentle and nourishing formula such as avocado, egg, coconut, aloe vera or even shea butter shampoos.
Rich in active ingredients, moisturizing mousses and creams help fight frizz and define frizz, while deeply hydrating.
